Amaran

Amaran 2024 is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language biographical action film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Indian Army officer who displayed extraordinary bravery during a counterterrorism mission in Kashmir's Shopian district. Sai Pallavi portrays Indhu Rebecca Varghese, Mukund's wife, who narrates his life story as she travels to New Delhi to receive the Ashoka Chakra, awarded posthumously to Mukund.

Released on October 31, 2024, "Amaran" received critical acclaim for its compelling storytelling and performances. Gopinath Rajendran of The Hindu noted, "Technically, Amaran would make for a near-perfect biographical war film but at its heart, it is an endearing love story."
