And this time the giant gorilla takes on the goddess of sea monsters and godzilla's, in a war for supremacy. The movie managed to earn revenue of over 468 million dollars in terms of box office sales. Critics acknowledged the impressive action sequences, special effects, and cast performance.
While doing so, Godzilla vs. Kong belongs to the number of the films that stood out in the glamour stakes and were able to mix theatrical and HBO Max piracy release during the period of Covid 19 lock-downs in Hollywood. This popularity resulted in the revival of the cinema box office that suggested that people actually still did want to go to the movies to see big films.
