Warcraft
Warcraft, an American fantasy action film, was released in 2016 as a sequel or spin-off of one of the biggest video game franchises, World of Warcraft. This film was directed by Duncan Jones with a cast including actors like Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Foster, and Robert Kazinsky, among others.
Azeroth’s human race is waging a battle against the continuously-invading orc empire of Draenor, who broke the 2nd lore in the flight of Zuhar. Even from a close perspective, the images and the themes represented in the film, which has of course war
, and peace
as the keywords, address specifically the war and the aftermath of the CoW.
According to reports from the marketing department, Warcraft earned over $ 400 million from the box office and other revenues and was able to reach its targets. However the project didn’t have a quite amount of luck, having received negative criticism from various reviewers for the better part of the project, though combat and combat visuals attracted some praise.
Warcraft remains an all time favorite movie amongst World of Warcraft’s target audience despite the innumerable onslaughts of negativity and the movie’s shortfalls in many areas.
